Having our own dental laboratory gives our partners something very different from the traditional clinician-to-lab relationship.
Through Luxe Dental Lab, Synergy Dental Group has developed a complete digital dental laboratory at our Bolton HQ, bringing clinicians and technicians together to plan, design and deliver high-quality restorative and implant dentistry.
Rather than sending cases to an external laboratory and waiting for feedback, our partners have direct access to the technicians creating their restorations — allowing for closer communication, greater control and a much more personalised approach to every case.
Our aim is simple: to combine clinical expertise, digital technology and exceptional craftsmanship to help our clinicians deliver the very best outcomes for their patients.
Luxe Dental Lab
Luxe Dental Lab was created by dentists, for dentists, with a focus on precision, partnership and patient-centred care.
The lab is headed by our Chief Lab Officer and supported by an in-house team of qualified dental technicians, digital designers, prosthetic technicians, porcelain technicians, lab managers and our dedicated concierge team.
Our technicians have been hand-picked for their expertise and work alongside our clinicians to create highly personalised restorations rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach to laboratory work.
For our partners, this means the laboratory becomes an extension of their clinical team.
Straumann Centre of Excellence
Luxe Dental Lab is proud to be the UK’s first ever Straumann Centre of Excellence, recognising the standard of technology, expertise and restorative dentistry delivered by the team.
Our partnership with Straumann complements the wider Synergy approach to implant dentistry, giving our clinicians access to an in-house laboratory capable of supporting anything from straightforward restorative cases through to complex implant and full-arch rehabilitation.
It means our partners can combine advanced clinical dentistry with a laboratory team that understands the treatment from both a technical and clinical perspective.
DIGITAL DENTISTRY

We have developed a fully digital dental laboratory incorporating the latest digital design, 3D scanning, printing and milling technology.
Luxe combines advanced digital workflows with traditional dental craftsmanship to produce restorations designed around accuracy, function and aesthetics. The laboratory currently provides solutions across crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, veneers and full-arch dentistry.
Keeping these workflows within the group gives our clinicians greater visibility throughout the restorative process and enables much closer collaboration between dentist and technician.

DIRECT TECHNICIAN ACCESS
Your technician becomes part of your team
One of the biggest advantages of an in-house laboratory is access.
Our lab team is based at our HQ facility in Bolton, allowing associates and partners to drop in, meet the technicians responsible for their cases and discuss treatment planning and design directly.
There are no layers of communication between the clinician and the person designing the restoration.
You can discuss the case, review the design, explain what you and your patient want to achieve and work collaboratively towards the final result.
For more complex cases, our technicians can also visit clinicians within their own practice to provide additional support.
It creates a much more personal, bespoke and intimate clinician-to-technician relationship than would normally be possible when using a third-party laboratory.
COMPLEX CASE SUPPORT
Support when you need it most
Not every case is straightforward — and you shouldn’t have to manage the laboratory element of a complex case alone.
Our technicians work closely with clinicians when treatment requires additional planning, design or technical input.
For complex restorative and implant cases, the laboratory team can collaborate with the treating dentist from the planning stage onwards, helping to ensure the clinical and laboratory elements of treatment work together.
Our technicians can also provide chairside support for immediate-loading full-arch cases, working alongside the clinical team when patients require their fixed provisional restoration following implant placement.
That means our clinicians have support not just before and after treatment, but when it matters most — during the case itself.

Bringing advanced manufacturing technology in-house also gives us greater control over turnaround times.
Where appropriate, Luxe Dental Lab can provide an express laboratory service, allowing selected cases to be completed within days rather than relying on conventional external laboratory timescales.
Our digital workflows also give us the capability to design and manufacture selected restorations on a same-day basis, including crowns, veneers and denture solutions.

We recognise that not all circumstances are the same and not all locations warrant the same patient charges. We would therefore build this in the practice development plan.
It is sensible to create a base within 1 practice. If you decide then to invest in a 2nd practice, it would be wise to maintain presence in the 1st practice and offer some sessions in your second practice. This is to allow associate dentists to be supported and settle in. We would create a business development plan for you allowing you not to spread yourself too thin. Our approach is to ensure stability and growth for both yourself and our JV practice.
Absolutely! As an associate dentist, you can choose to become a partner with us. You do not need to be an existing practice owner to become a partner with us.
Yes you can. We will undertake a mapping exercise and needs analysis and establish whether the location would be good for a new squat practice. Arrange a call and let’s have a chat. You don’t need to disclose your location until you want to.
Yes you can. Your options are that we buy a new practice together separate to your existing one, or we buy into your existing practice. We can discuss these options over a simple phone call.
Don’t worry, relax! We can offer you flexible share options ranging from 10% to 50% to the value of your investment. You then have the option to buy further shares up to 50% in the future.

If any of the locations have a freehold purchase option, then yes you can.
That’s the spirit! We would like you to be motivated enough to see the sky as your limit. If after the first JV practice, you want to invest in a 2nd practice, this is what we encourage. There is no limit in the number of practices you can invest in. The only limitation is how hungry you are.
You can! There is no tie in so you are free to sell your shares whenever you want. The share value would be at market value. Vice versa, if you wanted to buy the Synergy shares, we can discuss this over a coffee!
We refer to this as your financial freedom! You are at a point that you don’t need to work and practice profits allow you to earn a healthy living. So yes, you can. If this is your goal, our business development plan will be tailored to make this into a reality for you.
We can base this on our performance to date with our existing practices. Our partner practices have demonstrated a year on year increase in Turnover and profits. We expect the same for yours.
That’s what we are here for. We have a strong in practice and central operation team allowing you to concentrate on your clinical dentistry – what you are trained to do!
